Wood Engravings
Below are a selection of my recent wood engravings of birds and creatures. All are carved from a variety of woods including boxwood, lemonwood and maple. They are printed on Zerkell extra smooth 145gsm paper and paper size varies from 18cm x 18cm (Penguin and Sparrow) to 20cm x 20cm. Paper is a warm white so on screen it looks more cream than in real life. These prints are available to buy from the store.

Most of the creatures are taken from my own photographs and sketches from life. Exceptions are ‘The Shabbiest Mouse’ photographed by Alison Hamilton; and ‘Robin (on Stump)’, ‘Anna’s Hummingbird’ and ‘Stonechat’ reference photographs by Davis Pallash.
