Gulls and Goods Cranes
Hand pulled 7 colour screen print. Printed on Somerset Satin printmaking paper. Paper measures 50cm x 70cm. Signed, titled and numbered in an edition of 15. I have also printed a small number of proofs on metallic papers which are lower down the page.
This hand pulled, seven layer screen print illustrates a flock of seagulls in flight on a moody grey-blue sky with delicate halftone photographic clouds. This print is from a series of screen prints of Bristol Harbour that came about during lockdown when I would walk around Bristol, keeping my distance from other people. Also featured are the goods cranes which are an historic and popular feature of the harbour.
